What distinguishes the Mogami 3408 STP?
- Flexible construction - made entirely of flexible copper wire, the cable behaves like a classic microphone cable: it does not memorise its shape and is easy to lay down, making it significantly easier to install in stage conditions.
- Reinforced fibre-steel core - increases the cable's mechanical resistance by approximately 30% over the previous Mogami 3367 model. Ideal for demanding mobile applications.
- Full Cat5e performance up to 90 metres - guaranteed quality and reliability for Dante, AES/EBU transmissions and other multimedia applications.
- Standards and certifications - the cable complies with UL 20124 AWM VW-1 30V 60°C and TIA/EIA-568B (Cat5e). As of 2016, each Mogami Ethernet cable has an individual serial number and data rate certification.
Full certification - each cable undergoes quality testing:
- Data rate: 1 Gbps
- Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)
- Pair-to-pair delay (Skew)
- Bit Error Rate Test (BERT)
- Connection continuity test - detects cable length, short circuits, breaks, inversions, increased resistance or faulty connections.
A certificate with the measurement results is included with each cable.
