- The gafer.pl backpack was created with stage industry pros in mind – riggers, sound and lighting technicians. Everyone who, during concerts, needs to have not only their tools at hand but also the assurance that their equipment is properly secured.
The backpack’s construction is based on exceptionally durable Oxford 1680D/PU fabric, made of 100% polyester and coated with a layer of polyurethane, making it resistant to abrasion, tearing, and moisture. An additional layer of protection is provided by a reinforced rubber bottom that resists soaking and mechanical damage. Completing the design are high-quality waterproof zippers, reliable and corrosion-resistant, which perform well even in demanding outdoor working conditions.
The backpack measures 37 × 18 × 51 cm, has a capacity of 30 liters, and a net weight of 2.3 kg. Inside are four large compartments and seven smaller pockets that allow for easy organization of contents. Two foam dividers, equipped with soft lining and secured with elastic hook-and-loop straps, hold two laptops up to 17 inches. Three additional foam-lined pockets protect tablets, e-readers, and other devices with sensitive screens. A special padded, crush-resistant compartment, zippered from the top, is designed as a perfect storage space for glasses or other delicate accessories.
For convenient organization of smaller items, the backpack includes a pocket with a rubber front, ideal for safely storing chargers, cables, or USB drives. In the front compartment, there is an organizer panel, perfect for arranging smaller tools – from pens and keys to a mouse and headphones. Extra protection for valuable items is provided by a hidden pocket located at the back of the backpack, invisible at first glance and secured with a zipper.
Krzysztof personally tested this backpack for a long time. That is why in the final version he focused on functional solutions that make everyday work easier. Five integrated metal shackles allow users to attach carabiners, gloves, tape holders, or other tools – two on each side and one on the right shoulder strap, enabling quick access while working. On the other shoulder strap, an additional stitched loop provides a place to hang glasses or small accessories. Furthermore, on the left strap, there is an expandable zip pocket, perfect for a phone, ticket, or other items requiring instant access.
On both sides of the backpack, there are zippered pockets and special holders for bottles, thermoses, or flasks. Thanks to elastic rubber expanders and wide-opening zippers, they can accommodate various container sizes. On the front, an additional elastic cord expander allows users to carry a rain jacket, hoodie, cables, or other gear.
Comfort of use is ensured by wide, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps filled with foam, featuring full adjustment for length and chest strap height. The backpack also has a soft yet durable foam handle and a back panel system made of resilient foam, strategically distributed to evenly spread the weight while providing effective back ventilation. An additional feature is the luggage strap, allowing secure attachment of the backpack to a wheeled suitcase handle. Stability during transport is further reinforced by an extra fastening strap.
